10 simple ways to help end Poverty Today
- Donate to one or more of the charities on the page “Poverty-Charities” on this website.
- Click the website link below. Then click the button that says “Click to give-it’s Free” once every day. Every time you do it will fund disaster relief efforts, including supplies for overburdened animal shelters, protective gear for front line healthcare workers, and food for those who are struggling. - Personally give a necessity of some kind to someone experiencing Poverty or homelessness (Check out the page “Poverty-Reaching out to those in need” on this website for ideas.)
- Donate necessities to homeless shelters. If you have two coats, give one to someone who has none.
- Volunteer at different organization helping out, like feed my starving Children.
- Write to your state representatives about the issue, why they should care, what you’re doing about it, and why they should act on it.
- Use social media to show support for causes and charities, and to spread awareness of issues like poverty too.
- Start a petition: LINK
- Fundraise! You can do this through a lemonade stand with of few friends, or there’s the option to fundraise through an organization, were others can join you online.
- Support the fight for rise in minimum wage.
